Many of the most powerful and influential movements in the United States’ most recent history, from the Greensboro sit-ins in the 1960s to the most recent March for Our Lives in Washington DC was initiated by young adults. Some how, when young adults are mobilized and marshaled, when they are passionate and ignited, things get done. People begin to stop and take notice; laws and policies change. Young adults are some really super cool, innovative, and ingenious folks. They have a youthful swagger and confidence along with the passion to galvanize a movement – if they want. They sit dormant until energized by a cause, but once energized they are a force to be reckoned with. Unfortunately, many young adults haven’t found their nitch yet -- their reason to live; their reason to fight. That’s what Lifestyle of the Believer is all about. Our mission is motivating, empowering, and inspiring young adults to realize their purpose and potential in Christ and equipping them with the skills and resources necessary for leadership in life and ministry. The major difference between youth and young adults is that youth are under the complete authority of their adult parents, whereas young adults have the total ability to make their life choices, but are still in need of guidance, direction, and mentorship. Lifestyle of the Believers is geared towards young adults; preparing and equipping them for the life experiences they encounter during this phase of life. We endeavor to equip young adults with a community where they can access resources to navigate singleness, entering the work force, college, marriage, first time parenting, financial resources, and opportunities for growth and leadership; all with a Christ centered foundation. We will accomplish this through: Conferences, Community Meetings, Team Building Retreats, Round Tables, Young Adult Forums, Workshops, Seminars, and service opportunities.
